Digital Transformation for Nonprofits

About Brian Bravo

Brian Bravo helps nonprofits use digital strategy and AI to get time back for their mission. He brings more than 15 years in enterprise digital strategy, software development and marketing, so his advice comes from making technology work for real teams. Now he puts that experience to work for nonprofits.

Bio

What does Brian work on?

He leads AYNI, a small team of digital strategists who help nonprofits take busywork off their staff, so more of the week goes to the mission. He also founded Ember, simple software that keeps a nonprofit's programs, volunteers and deadlines in one place. Ember is made by the same team.

This column is where he writes about how nonprofits can do more good with technology and AI. In a talk or workshop, he shows leaders where AI gives a team real hours back, where it falls short, and how to keep a person in charge. He lives in Austin, Texas.

Talks

What does Brian speak about?

  1. 01

What AI can and can't do for your nonprofit

A plain look at where AI gives a team real hours back, and where it doesn't. Leaders leave with one habit, an AI champion with protected time, so a few fast individuals become a team that shares what works.

  2. 02

AI for small teams: hours back on volunteer scheduling, programs and admin

A hands-on workshop for anyone who runs volunteers, programs or the office. Bring the tasks you repeat every week. You'll leave with your own list of what to hand to AI, one prompt to use the next morning, and a short list of what never goes into an AI tool.

  3. 03

Digital transformation for nonprofits: growing your impact with technology and AI

Where nonprofits are heading with technology, and what a lean team can take on now. Each idea comes with one small step to try that week, so the talk turns into action the following Monday.
